President’s Message:

I cannot express, in adequate words, how much it means that our club would entrust me with the honor of being the president of JBWC for the upcoming year. We have a club full of amazing women of diverse gifts, talents and backgrounds which has contributed to its success. The board and CSP’s will be working diligently this summer to plan for another active, fun-filled, philanthropic year as we are “living the volunteer spirit” together. I chose the beautiful flamingo as the icon to represent this upcoming year as I believe it represents much of the club’s personality. Flamingos work as an interdependent group called flamboyances. They do not have one specific leader; they work as a group and support one another. They represent balance, grace, self-expression, resilience and joy. Their bright color and distinct posture encourage standing out in a crowd and expressing themselves. They thrive in large communities and adapt in harsh situations which serves as a reminder to embrace social connections and a joyful presence. In spiritual folklore, their their method of filtering muddy water for food represents sorting through life’s distractions to focus on what truly nourishes the soul. It is my hope that you will have a soul nourishing summer. Please feel free to call or text me anytime with ideas for the club, questions, etc. I will get back to you quickly if I don’t pick up.

I am anticipating a fabulous year working with my JBWC sisters!
